At dusk I sail a velvet sea
Listening to stars sing softly to me
Candyfloss clouds, in stretches they lie
Their whispers are hushed, by the night sky
I ride a boat of woven thread,
Its sail stitched from words unsaid,
It drifts to a place maps do not chart
Tracing the realm of my shadowed heart
The moon pours ink into the waves,
It writes in runes the soul once saved
While somewhere beneath the foam
Sleeps every thought I’ve left unknown
A lighthouse made of shattered clocks
Spins light through time’s forgotten box
And guides me past what I believe
Towards all I’ve lost, but still must grieve
But even there, in storm or gleam
The dream glows warm; a quiet seam
It dances and flickers, calling to me
To follow it over the velvet sea.
